My son is 41 years old and has been addicted for over 6 months. He has tried to quit on his own but finds it very, very painful. He has just started taking suboxone thinking it will help him with his withdrawls. Do you think WE would help him or would he need more extensive treatment?

Hi Lynda. I'm so sorry that your doctors have left you out on a limb like that. Perhaps we can help you. Please email me at Georgec@withdrawal-ease.com and we can discuss.

This is the first time I have been on this site and have read "everything" that was posted in regards to WE. I was opiate dependent for 3 years and went to a very expensive doctor who put me on suboxene 8 mg. at 3 times a day. I have been on suboxene only since March and have been denied my visits because I couldn't come up with the doctor visit pay one time! After paying a lst time fee of $280! Is that even legal? Anyway, I have about 9 pills left, what can I do to NOT go through withdrawels and do you think WE would be good for my situation? Thank you so much! I am very interested in this product and if it works that would be awesome! Thank you for sharing this information it has giving me some sort of hope!

Dr. Earthman:
Thank you as well for your first step comments but, I wanted to comment on Bonnie Q's and ask what your current thoughts are on Ultram(Tramadol)? This drug is most definately addictive! Doctor's that tell patients this is not an addictive drug are misleading their patients. Unfortunately I looked for help at several different places and was turned away because they did not believe I could be addicted to Tramadol therefore there were no withdrawal's to be concerned about. WRONG! I have been taking Withdrawal-ease for 4 days now while weaning off the tramadol and am following the advice of the program to take for 3 to 5 days before detoxing(quitting)the tramadol. I was just curious how Doctor's, like yourself, and the medical community, are viewing tramadol and it's addictive properties now that it has been on the market for some time?
By the way, I will keep you posted on whether W-E works for me and I pray to God it does! I am sick and tired of being on this stuff and realizing the damage it has done to me and the one's I love. Thank you for your commitment, as well as George's, in helping people get off opiates once and for all!
God Bless and be with all trying to get off drugs and alcohol.
Thank you,
Lou B.

Thank you for taking the time to post this message. I have chronic hereditary pancreatits & have been on pain killers since major surgery for that disease in 1989. I was 21 yrs old at that time & NEVER even knew you could be addicted to pain medicine. Well, since that time I've been in rehab 4 times, once for Ultram. My doctor said that wasn't addictive but I have to differ on that. It was just as bad as demerol or hydrocodone withdrawal.

I am 6 days clean from morphine & suboxone. It is a very long hard road & I'm looking forward for the day to come when I want to live again.

Thank you again for all the advice.
