Withdrawal-Ease Now Has a Clinical Advisor!

I’d like to announce a major development at Withdrawal-Ease that will help us continue to profoundly improve our product both on and off-line. Although we have always liked to think of ourselves as a “healthcare” company, the FDA doesn’t technically classify us as one. This is fine I guess; but we want to be taken seriously because we are getting serious results with a serious product for a serious issue. However, when one thinks of a nutritional supplement company it’s hard not to conjure up images of voodoo dolls, hippies and infomercials. We believe what Withdrawal-Ease is doing for people is of vital importance regardless of how we are classified and now someone else does too. His name is Dr. Earthman.

Dr. Earthman is a Psychiatrist and specializes in treatment of addictions and if there’s anybody out there that takes opiate addiction seriously it’s Dr. Earthman. He sees it every day in his practice and at the addiction treatment facility where he is the Psychiatric Services Director for Spirit Lodge, a residential substance abuse treatment center in the Texas hill country near Austin. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Earthman has agreed to donate his time to Withdrawal-Ease as our clinical advisor and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have access to his knowledge and expertise in the field of addiction and psychiatry.

Dr. Earthman has agreed to help us in several ways. As you can see, we have added a new section to our website called “Ask Dr. Earthman.” In that section, all of you will have a chance to submit questions relating to opiate addiction, withdrawal or recovery and we will pick a few each week for him to answer. Since Dr. Earthman runs a full time private practice, he may not be able to get to everyone’s questions but we will try and make sure that a range of different topics are presented so that there’s a good mix of topics for you to read about and learn from. AND, if we use your question on the site we’ll give you a FREE Withdrawal-Ease T-….just kidding. All jokes aside, this is a great addition to our site and we hope that you find it useful and perhaps, even inspirational. He will also be helping us with any product improvements to the existing Withdrawal-Ease product and possibly even help us deliver some new products to help make the withdrawal and recovery process a lot more comfortable both physically and psychologically.

In short, Dr. Earthman’s intimate knowledge of the treatment of opiate addiction is going to help us to improve every facet of what Withdrawal-Ease offers to its customers so that we can continue to help people take that “first step.”
